The organizers of Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC 2026) have officially released the tournament rosters for all participating teams. Several organizations have submitted updated lineups, including substitute players and coaching changes, with many of the adjustments believed to be related to visa complications following the event's relocation to Paris, France, from its previous host country, Saudi Arabia.
PARIVISION Registers Tobi as Substitute
Among the most notable changes, PARIVISION has added Tobias "Tobi" Buchner as the team's 
substitute player for the tournament.
Although no official explanation has been provided, Tobi primarily plays position five support, leading to speculation that starting support Andrey "Dukalis" Kuropatkin may be facing visa-related travel issues.

Xtreme Gaming Appoints Maps as Head Coach
Chinese powerhouse Xtreme Gaming has also announced a coaching change for the event.
The organization registered Wei "Maps" Yutian as its head coach, replacing veteran coach Zhang "xiao8" Ning, who had worked with the roster for more than a year.
Interestingly, Maps previously coached Xtreme Gaming during DreamLeague Season 29, while xiao8 later returned to guide the team at BLAST Slam VII, despite earlier rumors suggesting he had left the organization.
